Dr. Ricardo Ahedo has been caring for pets at Village Veterinary Hospital since April 2000. For him, being a veterinarian is a privilege that allows him to help beloved pets live healthy lives while supporting the special bond they share with their families.
Growing up in Mexico, Dr. Ahedo developed an admiration for the veterinarian who cared for his family’s farm animals and pets. That early experience inspired him to pursue veterinary medicine himself. He attended Michoacan University of Saint Nicholas Hidalgo (UMSNH), where he completed his veterinary education.
Dr. Ahedo practices general veterinary medicine and is a member of the Delta Veterinary Association, California Veterinary Medical Association, and American Veterinary Medical Association.
When he’s not caring for patients, Dr. Ahedo is an avid cyclist who also enjoys traveling and following sports, especially soccer and football. A longtime soccer player himself, he still has a particular appreciation for the game. At home, he enjoys the company of his two cats, Nacho and Princess Peach.
